Casts will be available this week, the higher leveled players will be cast first. Also I think we will make the effort to cast everybody at least once.

Cool, all casters should point to their channels/casts in this thread btw. regardless of language casted in. I'm thinking about solutions to bundle all relevant links for a better exposure of your casted Escalation Series games.

The first german(!) Replay-Cast is online:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB5O-R9Sd8c
There is also a playlist of all german casted replays of the Escalation Series Tournament 2: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL06D01D69FDAA6874
Alicuza will also cast some replays in german and in english. The german casts from Alicuza will be also added to the playlist, as soon as possible.

PS: Sry for my bad english ;)

The Swiss Incursion is over, and [SiKG]Alicuza won after beating the Opening Moves champion komaromi, who himself landed smoothly in 2nd place. johnsushant fought valiantly to end up on the honorable 3rd place.

Here are the full standings (scroll down) and replays (green paperclips): http://challonge.com/swissincursion

Thanks to all the participants. Out of 16 only one player didn't show up on time. Amazing <3

Edit: Btw. notice the low number of heavy tanks in top replays (komaroni/Alicuza). Not really surprising for me but a good point in the whole heavy thanks are imba discussions.

That's a few games, ad it depends on map. Top heavies still ruin the game most o the tim imo. It becomes a game with heavies sniping anything coming in sight, and then running away with ease if lighter tanks come after them.
Top heavies are just... "I see you ! boom you're dead"

ofc it's probably partly because atgm ar still bugged/ not as accurate as advertised

After our first successful tournament which has been prized for its smooth organization, we are happy to announce the next Escalation Series tournament. The Swiss Incursion tournament is still a test event to iron out more options. Whats special about this tournament is the round structure. Instead of single elimination, where players are eliminated after one lost round, we will host a swiss tournament. The swiss systems lets everyone play for the full set of round, regardless of wins or losses.

Good work, have seen some 1vs1 games(specially the John Sushant all in rush with Osas in front  ),just wondering if you can smooothly organize 3vs3 or 4vs4 tournaments. :?:
Already signed in for the WCCL knock out toruney, but only we and PLF signed so far(its on 02.06),really wondering if this game is dead, dying,or will it be just like Ruse, dead soon....Lets keep this game alive with some "clan" fights in tournaments, some friendly competions, will be also fun to watch later on castings(very nice commentary btw)
So keep up the good work and surprise me with a good answer ;)

Thanks. The reason we stayed away from teams for now is that it seems even more difficult to get enough participants and deal with now shows. I have nothing against team tournaments in particular but I think it will stay mostly 1v1.

Good news is, some kind folks offered their help with organizing tournaments.

Bad news is, my life is kinda hectic right now with work on the weekends. I want the next tournament(s) to happen in June but I have to clear some things up. Especially as the tests are over and we can try to get more into the whole Series thing.
