bought game last week.really lik it 8-)

I dig in into concept of the game pretty fast(long years of RTS background)
and after a couple of std. loses,I started to win game after game,I was on 7 win streak and than i started to resarch and watch more videos of good starting deck and diff. map tactics and now I cant win a single game in like 15-20 played these days...
curious if this happend to somebody else?
is to much knowledge hurt player? :geek:

There's good days and bad days. At least that's what people tell me...

Did you change your playstyle somewhat? Can you tell us what you deploy and what do you do with them?

Show a replay where you think you actually did well and still lost. Also I notice that the level of players increases, it gets harder because everyone gets better at it. How should anyone help you when we know nothing about your gameplay?? People these days...

Welcome to W:EE.
The game is not newbie (its not meant negative in any way) friendly. Sure the mechanics are easy to catch but since the game is so open to different approaches and tactics there arent any blueprints to win rounds.
It all comes with experience: how to use your units effectively, when to attack and when to play a ressource game, good spots to set up ambushes, etc. And while a tactic might work against one opponent it can completely falter against another.
Dont let yourself down. Watch replays of your defeats and keep playing. You will get better if you are willing to learn, unlike others who just blame the game or certain units.

yeah, def. will start watching losing replays,I think my style changed a bit, problem is I have no early game replays saved, started to saving it last 5-6 games...
I mean my deploy is pretty std.,sometimes i experiment tho,i am doing good first part of the game, and when i get control of desired points my games start to fall apart for some reason....
yeah, def. experince will put me on winning streak again, just won a game vs. level 44 8-) (he play ranked too)
this get me into good mood already

There's an old quote:

"Professional soldiers are predictable; the world is full of dangerous amateurs."

Maybe your 'noob' tactics caught a lot of people out?

For example, when the game was released a lot of people used heli spam with a certain degree of success - then people quickly learnt how to counter it (along with a bit of an AA buff), so now people no longer try heli spam. This means that over time people have decreased their AA, which means that now heli spam can actually work again sometimes if you're lucky.

Once you watched the replays and started to use the conventional 'professional' tactics, you will have been inexperienced in using them and therefore more likely to fail. For long term success you need to keep practising with the conventional tactics.

Or you need to invent a better "conventional" tactic.
That said sometimes strange noob setups can be effective (EvE online has this happening sometimes as retarded at the first glance fit/tactic is later seen as very effective).

dont want to open new thread so I'll post my 1st ranked game(winner) here.

I made a mistake and left my cheap units Deck for this game,so only thing i could do was try to rush with hope enemy dont spot me(I got lucky cos he took no recon at start)
anyway my cheap unit deck payed off this time....
my opp. was chating "very cheap tactics" bla bla bla..(but he was not that great, very wiered deployment he made)
maybe it is cheap win, but it's still a win....
here is the replay if some1 want to watch it....
