im trying to decide which tank to choose.

the T64BV
10 front armor just like the T80, 2275m main gun and 2551m the atgm (but they never hit like any other atgm)
8 accuracy and 9 ap power
stabilizer (idk what it is) is normal and normal optics (but i dont need them , i just use recon..)
and 65km/h speed

but the main fact is that i can make 8 of them

the T80U
10 front armor , 2275m main gun and 2626m atgm (like i said no metter what the range it almost never hit)
8 accuracy and 11 ap power
stbilizer is good (idk what it is) and normal optics
and 75km/h speed

and the main Disadvantage is that i can make only 2 of them !!!!
and NATO can make much more heavy tanks (like 8 abrams) or 4 challangers

the front armor is the same, im not really looking at the side armor because it doesnt metter they attack from the front
the same accuracy, but the T80U have 11 ap power that is big advantage .
the speed matters to me a lot , so thats i like more the T80U
but what i dont like is that i can make only 2 of them... its HUGE disadvantage .

as so 2 challangers are equal to 2 T80U's , but they can bring more heavy tank and ill stuck with these 2 T80U's

and the T80A ,B,V are not good as the T80U

i just prefer much more the T64BV , but i see EVERY body who plays pact choose to make the T80U series
also the high level players

waiting for answears..

also i would be pleased if you tell me what the stabilizer do ?

You might want to have a look at the site in my sig if you want to compare cross faction units easily. :)

Take both of them.

You need T80U to damage Leo2A4 from 2275 range. It has front armor of 10 and T-64BV needs to be 1925m to damage it (for every 350m your gun gets +1AP).

Stabilizer determines accuracy on the move. For better understanding check excel file made by FLX.

The fact that you can use each of the other tank of the family and get a tank with the same long range is a big benefit. And dont discard the tanks that are not a T-80U. :) The basic T-80 is already a great tank to take alongside 1 T-80U.

And I wouldnt discard the side armor of the T-64 either, its really bad and when your enemy gets a slight angle on your tank it will quickly start hitting the side already.

But as said above, take them both, they work together really well and I love taking the basic T-64 as support for the T-80's. Cheap tanks with a very nice gun and decent speed. 8-)

Both of those tanks have side armor issues. Especially it is not funny on T64BV, which has horrible side armor (unlike all those leo2 and M1 who have massive essentially unprotected ammo magazines at the side).

Around a week ago, I had a game where I lost mine to a bunch of M113 106mm RR's hitting their flanks. :D

2xT-80U + 2xT80BV + large volumes of a medium PACT tank of your choice seems like a more reliable solution to me.

Get 8 BV and form a very long frontline, or 4 BV and 2 A on each side. Ain't no side hits gonna happen. On open ground that is. In some games I use T80 in some T64BV. They are both great and should be used.

I've been favoring 64s lately. T-80's attract way too much attention.

It is no easy as front is about +-20 degrees from the center. TOWs would own such a line.
