Please, let's be nice ok? :ugeek:

From what I see, the community consists of people posting suggestion that have already been made multiple times and post them outside the suggestion thread.

This is the suggestion thread : look at "units control" section your proposition is the 4th proposition. I can understand people were too lazy to read to whole topic but now there is a summary at the begining.

You are fine with calling the idea of calling Devs lazy and incompetent because of a 23mm Kamaz 3D model? If so, yes, you're totally a fine and balanced forumite indeed. But well I guess that cheap metagame dev bashing is a good substitute for ingame satisfaction.

One man... ONE MAN... said that Devs were lazy, not anyone else... word "incompetent" didn't pop out there at all. And response from Devs was already there. But your post wasn't even slightly on that matter so don't play "saint" card here.

Well I didn't use brackets, did I? The first one was surely a quote, and the second one a general feeling, a leftover from all these posts saying how things are "wrong", in the very same topic...
Moreover, the Dev you mentioned is indeed a model of patience, tolerance (and self-derision?) when it comes to answering this guy's pleas, and still you're just adding to the pain - well, yes, if you don't like the game don't play it, that was the heart of my intervention. Harassing new players or letting the devs get stoned aren't gonna make anyone feel better.

I ain't some sort of saint. I am just saying that I don't like injustice, and that in way too many ways the atmosphere here is starting to stink. Ive seen countless way more bugged games out there that had more praise or understanding from the players (who mind you didn't buy them for 25 bucks, but for 70 or even more), and sometimes the community is all that stands between a forum being a place of mutual help and culture, or a excruciating wall of lamentations. I am so sad that such a great game, because of its seeming popularity, seems to only bring us closer to the latter.

Ok, the idea is as follows:

There are games where u can see the waypoints ur character/unit will take to reach a certain spot on the map.

In Wargame players (and I for myself ofc) have sometimes problems with waypoints beeing hard to see.
You sometimes dont know where reinforcmenets will come from and in the heat of battle u dont have time to go back to the reinforcement area to place them.

Also when u let ur units travel with "Move fast" over long distances you never know for certain which route they take.

Long story short:
I suggest to implement visible waypoint predictions for unit movement on the map. This would make it easier to see how a unit will drive when "Move Fast".
Also I would like a command where u can make the unit avoid forests when moving.

It's a great idea. I would be great if we could get this in some patch in the future.

In a good game, you thrive on the mistakes of your opponents. traps/strategy's can enlarge the chance for your opponent to make a mistake somewhere. most things that increases the chance of a player-made-mistake is a good thing. this way you have to think more about what you do and when you do it. the game is alot of macro, the few micros that remains have to stay. like seeing which roads your units take, you'd have to look ahead.

This would be an AWESOME idea to see implemented. More than once, sadly, I've made the mistake of not paying attention to see what spawn point my units have come out of only to hear later through alerts that they chose to come from a very hotly contested spawn point and were all killed trying to drive through enemy lines. While bad at any time, a mistake like this can be devastating if you were to lose a CV this way.

I hope that nobody says that this is simply an issue of paying better attention because often times your attention is focused on managing a troubled attack or defense, leaving you with precious little time to mouse out and stare at all of the spawn points until your units emerge.

Anyway, cool idea and would love to see it implemented.
