Don't tell me. Its free until its popular and then a monthly fee?
Don't tell me:
a) no mods
b) no freedom
c) perhaps in the long term them making you pay a monthly subsciption
d) my net is crap... drops out twice a night. What do I do then?
e) They go bust and so do my games
f) I will have to have some sort of premium account to get better graphics or they will upgrade too slowly when things I want to play come out
g) My game specific hardware that I want to use will be incompatible with their hardware
h) No indy developers just like consoles. Only the big titles or those that will play corporate ball with onlive.
Am I just paranoid? Do I really want to go remote desktop for my games?
Reminds me of banks...
we will hold and manage your money for you at least until we GFC you all. Its much better in my mattress where thieves and fire can get at it

Its all about control people. The more we have as gamers the more our hobby will prosper. The more control companies have of our PCs the more we will do what they want. You don't own your PC you are depriving yourself of choice between gaming services and smacking the poor indy devs down to nothingness. Not to mention slowing hardware vendors to a crawl just like consoles do.
All the things u have listed are wrong r will never happen except there being no mods and the no internet and then not being able to play it. I am not trying to yell or anything but u should try it before bashing it on things that dont exsist except for two. I have used onlive for a while and its a legitimite and solidly planted service with high profits and amounts of users. Thus u do not have to worry about your games going bust. The best part of the service would be the playpack bundle where u can pay $10 dollars a month to get 30% off everything all the time as long as long as u have the subscription. Also that is totally optional so yeah. But it also gives u access to 200 plus game at no extra charge of any kind and it has some really good games in it and alot of indie games wich should solve your indie game complaint infact they have been wildly embracing indie developers. Also xbox also have a large amount of indie games i mean thousands upon thousands on xbox and alot of those are going on onlive also from steam to onlive to be on both. So i could also go on and on and on about all other advantages and the three disadvantages wich are no mods no playin games without a connection of some sort and they dont have a hole bunch of different games cause they are still working with publishers. Also its nice how when u buy a game on onlive its much more portabal like how i can play wargame on a tablet or go to a friends house and play it instantlywith out a download or anything as long as u have internet wich does not have to be good just has to stay connected also u can play onlive games on a smart phone if u wantor on their game system wich is nice and only $100 wich is pretty dam cheap so yeah. I just advise u to try it and i encourage it before judging.
