MD Jupiter 750 supplies 15 points
HEMMT 1500 supplies 30 points
do some math man

yes. it has half the point and half the supply. it comes out the same but you have more granular control over how you distribute your points.

Actually, the math is:

Jupiter: 15 points, 5 HP, 750 supplies, Normal size.
HEMMT: 30 points, 10 HP, 1 front armour, Big target.

Jupiter dies to random artillery shots but has to be spotted first. Better distribution of the goods, but more micro.

Hemmt dies to sustained artillery fire that it's size cause, but survives random shots. More concentrated distribution, but less micro.

Sometimes your tanks go off road. Waiting for a wheeled vehicle to traverse the terrain is painful. Always have at least 1 air supply in your deck. Sometimes supply needs to get there fast.

We were discussing Chinook vs. Puma, but thanks for reminding us that we do need air supply Cptn. Obvious.

I do just fine without heli supplies in most of my decks. They can be useful, but usually only if things have gone very wrong. I prefer to make sure things don't go wrong, and use the heli supply slot for something more useful.

Also, Gazelle > kiowa. I used to use the kiowa w/hellfire, but I figure the excellent gazelle optics and speed will keep it alive, and I'll buy an apache to complement it.

I don't know. Air for me in this game boils down to if there's AA around you're dead. And I am not paying 80 supply just for flying around. I have used the KIOWA in many close matches, it's excellent for being aware of your enemy and harassing his frontlines at the same time.

Theres pretty much always AA around, but it's not that hard to work around it - and when you do the results can be amazing.

I've become pretty skilled at using the Gazelle and Apache in various ways. After reading stuff on here about the Kiowa, and also from my appreciation of the Hellfire, I experimented with the Kiowa for a few days over the last week. In my opinion Gazelle/Apache is far more effective than the Kiowa even taking into account the higher price, and for recon needs only, the Gazelle is better than both of the first two Kiowas, so I've removed the Kiowa from my deck.

I concur with Space. I don't have a heart for Heli power because I think they are to fragile. Therefore, I use it sparing.
Kiowas are two expensive for there weapon systems and too valuable to lose. There is not point in getting them IMO.
