Weird Military designs through the years

After finding back the G6 Howitzer (South africa) that looks like a Formula 1 from above

and the Messerchmitt ME 163 "Komet"

I wondered if you could find more "WTF" military designs.

Let the battle begin!

I've seen the Komet in person, its far less crazy than the manned V-1 they have at that same museum.

A project made in 1912 by another druken russian, M. Bezobrazoff :
Tubular barrels are sooooo common, let's make a circular gun !

Sadly, it never went beyond the beta stage, the Leduc 1.0 would have been amazing, for sure

Looks like the americans were jealous of the japanese Shinden :

That was in Vietnam right?

Kinda reminds me of the bikes in "Venus Wars" old Anime. Image

That must be the ultimate hit and run vehicle or at least the coolest :)

And i have never understood why you would design this. let alone let it serve in an army.

While looking for Opus' scooter, I found this.

And we were both sort of right: It was French paratroopers' equipment in Vietnam (Guerre d'indochine for us).
