Wargame: European Escalation today unveiled 5 new explosive screenshots!

The players will discover on these images NATO forces defending at all cost their installations at Ramstein Air Base, in West Germany, which is under heavy assault from the Warsaw pact. These new screenshots are the opportunity to see once more the incredible level of detail offered by Wargame!

We also want to officially announce today that the game will eventually release in 2012. It has indeed been decided by mutual agreement between Focus and Eugen Systems, to delay the release of the game by a few months to ensure Wargame: European Escalation offers the best possible experience both in single player and in multiplayer. The game is now planned for release first quarter 2012; the final release date will be disclosed the coming weeks.

Ah dear. Oh well. At least we'll have the beta to tide us over...

Keep up the hard work, Eugen!

Well, finally we got a clear answer, 2012 huh... they sure got their reasons its 1000 times better to push the release back and delivere a fine bug free and (mostly) balanced game then launching an unfinished game which needs tons of patchwork. Heh, good thing that I bought BF3 today  that will keep my busy until the beta.

Can't tell you how happy I am to hear that this was pushed back, means we'll be playing a superior product.

Expected this. A wargame can take all the time it needs.
