Dragon IIs can use Bradleys as well.
I often use (or try to) 4 Vet 4 I-TOW bradleys + dragon 2s, spread out across an area of defense... tanks? What tanks? Air on the way? Retreat into forest, autocannons will rip them up.
That's a lot of money spent on weapons that are easily stunned/one shotted - and havoks will be out of your autocannon range. I'd recommend having some well armoured tanks with them to take damage.
Yeah they're not alone. I tend to never take heavy tanks, and sometimes vet 2 rather than vet 4 if points is an issue.
-1 Vet 2-4 Recon Bradley with I-TOW
-4 Dragon-Bradley spread out, and by spread out I mean far left and far right teams are out of range of one another. Only an inaccurate rocket barrage will hurt the group.
-1 Vet 4 Chap + Supply in back
-1 Vet 2 Roland up front
-4 to 8 Patton Rises
-Fill rest with cheap units.
Works fairly okay for fighting an enemy with limited artillery/air. I never deploy the DragBrad teams either without extensive recon. If I know the situation will allow them to excel then I risk the points.
