The KAMAZ ZU-2362

I use it. A lot. For 15 points and fast unit? Its amazing. I ambush helicopters with it all the time. It regularly eats up Apaches who end up ambushed...

_FIELDS______[^^^^KAMAZ^^^^^TREES^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^]______<----Helo Direction

They fly over trees, Recon won't see the helo until its to late. You let them fly past your AA... dont set it up where it can be seen before firing. Also follows CVs very easily and quickly to ward off light helos trying to hit your units. You won't cry over losing these.

There are not bad. They are cheap and have very good optics.

About the shilkas, I think it's a shame that they are so weak. It was a very good and accurate AA gun when it was first field and it was upgraded many times to keep it effective. I don't understand why he has lower range than the Vulcan since in every sources I read about them said that they have the same combat range ... and someone on the forum said that the M163 Pivad had only a air search radar, while the shilka has a targeting radar ... But the Pivad have 8 accuracy anyway  . Seriously, the AA shilkas should be upgraded to 1750 meters range and get +1 accuracy. The afghanisiki or whatever should be transformed in a real ground support vehicule like the Rarden. I would give it -1 accuracy to show that he no longer have a radar and give it +1 AP. Then it will become a specialised infantry support vehicule and the AA shilkas will be restored to their true glory!

I personally really like the kamaz, mostly due to the 90 km/h speed. They can be used to set up quick ambushes and the short range isn't too much of an issue because they can catch up to helis that try to escape. And they're 15 points a piece.

All PACT command vehicles except for the command chopper and the BRM-1. All PACT ground recon except for the BRM-1. All M113s (except for ones with upgraded fuel efficiency). T-34 (just get T-55).

I dont agree, T-34 is a good alternative. T-55 AP is still pathetic anyway and t-34's mashine gun may be usefull in some situations, when rate of fire is more important than AP power, like when it get couth by infantry in close range (and he got 10 more cannon shells, if not of his bad survivality it would be huge difference)

Dont agree with you on the recon. I enjoy using the PT-85, it actually has some armor and a decent gun should it need to fend off isolated enemies.

It really is surprisingly comparable. I'm really surprised they dont chop its main gun down to 1000 meters like they did that one Czech recoiless rifle. I'm confident that 1900 meters was FAR beyond the T34's ability to accurately hit anything :P

With WWII Russian optics, I wouldn't be surprised, but I think 1000m is a little on the harsh side. Anyone more knowledgeable on this care to comment?
