The VTS1 not being upped to 25 points is kind of a shocker (head and shoulders better then Zhalos due to armor), along with no morale change (I guess that takes some serious testing).

Leo really seems like the best deck choice now in terms of variants.

Was the Hellfire really considered underpowered? It was already insanely effective when used right.

lol, why do you care about stabilizers. Vet gives FREE STABS TO EVERYTHING!

Seriously, if anybody thinks this was an overall nerf to the VTS1s they're fooling themselves. Limiting availability is a lazy way to balance and fixes nothing, I've been saying that for weeks. VTS1 price is still the same, vet still gives magic stabs, and now I don't consider it an exploit to use it indiscriminately since apparently it's functioning as intended.

I hope eugen liked the amount of VTS1 rush whining so far, because I'm about to make that pale in comparison.

They nerfed their firepower in almost 25%. That is quite significative....

Not really. I wasn't using max vet VTS1s before because I considered vet broken and abusing it an exploit. I've been holding back. Now though, now I'm going to be abusing it all the time. I may fire slower, but I'll be firing 3x as accurately. You do the math.

now all we need is to gimp the strengths of NATO...lets see..i dislike Abrams...can we have Abrams fire and move about 50% less? its those same people who bitch about arty that sit there and play NATO....its like saying..please dont play to your factions strengths please.

Ive gone from recommending this game to a friend to telling him to screw it....unless you want to play NATO all the time and deal with fun time AMX and Abrams rushes.

French tanks are being OP with the stabilizers (not to mention Leo2 series).

Why a plural? Only the AMX-32 was changed.
We wrongfully thought no French tank before the Leclerc was stabilized, a mistake a French player whom used to be an AMX-30 platoon leader corrected for us.

Does that mean that price of AMX-32 will be increased? I mean its great when you are trying to make your units more historicaly accurate, but still this is a game - where individual power or the units is represented by their point value for ingame balance issues...and since one such a unit received "buff" based on real-life technical properties, then its point value, which was set for its previous "unstabilized" version, should be modified to reflect historicaly accurate stabilized version. Or does actuall change represent also in-game balancing, which unexpectedly met with information provided by mentioned French player?

Can do.. but unless your hit ratio was under 40%.. 3x more accuracy is not that relevant.

If you were already hitting most of time, you cannot gain yet very much from more accuracy ( kepe in mind I do not disagree there must be a fix to the way veterancy is applied).

Max firepower is still very relevant. If now you lack the firepower to kill enemy units fast enoguh before they kill lots of your vtsi the balance may change a lot.

I DO think VTS must have its cost increased altough, but simply because its so superior to zhalo that its not funny.

This patch is very nice (aside from the M1A1 being more or less useless now :( ), but the Vet issue is still really concerning.

It was because I never fully abused vet stabs. Which is going to change, now. Furthermore, I never used 20 VTS1s at once, I only used 16 or 12, so the limit change doesn't really hurt me. My max firepower may be reduced, but my effective firepower is going to be way higher. And judging from the Tigga replay, the extra 2 second reloading time is laughable in a practical sense.

I built this rush, I've known exactly how/why it works and how I could make it utterly ridiculous for weeks. The reason I didn't do that is because I considered the things required, like vet stabs, to be obviously bugged and/or exploits. However, after several weeks with no word from eugen and now this patch that fixes nothing... yeah I think I will stop holding back until they fix it.

People might quit if they see you. And in my opinion it is good (in moral sense) to not go for a gamey tactic if you know that it is so (even if devs are slow with fixing it)

Well... they didn't listen to me... or tigga... or virtually everybody else. So I must logically conclude they think we were exaggerating for some reason.

So I figure my only recourse is to abuse everything as effectively as possible and turn the forums into a whiny cesspit until they figure out we were right in the first place.
