When I try to play this from Steam it doesn't open. I've tried what everyone has suggested with no result. Lookin at the task manager the wargame.exe pops up but then it exits out. It played yesterday but today it's no good.

Can you post a DXDiag report?

Also, if you are running the Raptr client (it's a game chat program), turn it off - it's been causing lots of problems with some games since it's last update.

Either way, it sounds like something conflicting with the game process on your PC.

Your graphics drivers could do with being updated, they're about 5 months out of date. Not sure if that'd cause this problem though.

Please update the drivers of your graphics controller:
1. Click http://uk.download.nvidia.com/Windows/2 ... l-whql.exe
2. Save 295.73-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe application file on the hard disk.
3. Once download done, run 295.73-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe and follow the instructions.

Idk how a driver update will help. I pre-bought this and was able to play it w/o any problems. I'ts only recently that its been having problems. I tried the install and it still didn't work.

1. Click Windows Start button then Computer.
2. Open Local Disk (C:).
3. Open Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder.
4. Open Steam folder then Steamapps folder.
5. Open Common folder then wargame european escalation folder.
6. Right mouse click WarGame.exe application file and click Properties.
7. Click Compatibility tab.
8. Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' then select Windows XP Service Pack 3.
9. Check 'Run this program as an administrator'.
10. Click OK button and run the game.

Click No button if you get a message about the last game problem.

Tried that already. Doesn't work.

What is your antivirus/firewall? Do you have an antispyware too?
