As said above, the FV432 Rarden is not a transport with an autocannon, but a fire support vehicle.

Understood that from the very beginning. Was just grumbling about the fact that the UK doesn't have an armored transport that packs something better than a 7.62mm machine gun. :)

Warrior I think should be there. But then you have french amx10 in the same role.

True about the AXM-10P but since this is a thread about British units I just wanted to point it out. Just find it curious that the French, West Germans, and Americans get IFVs while the Brits don't.

This can be modded later.
But tbh there is no role for british IFV in the game I think that is not taken. And warrior was not the best one really anyway.

I agree. Then again I do consider the Bradley to be the epitome of IFVs so I may be a bit biased.

Two possible answers:
1/ we are devious anti-British activists, and have been retaining the Warrior just to annoy our dear neighbours, even more than defeating them at the incoming Six Nations game next week.

2/ we kept to the game's timeframe (1975-1985).
--> introduction of the AMX-10P in French service: 1973
--> introduction of the Marder in German service: ~1971
--> introduction of the Bradley in US service: 1981-1982
--> introduction of the FV103 Spartan in British service: 1978
--> for the record, introduction of the FV510 Warrior in British service: starting 1985.

Besides, there was still the FV432 that we didn't retain either and which was much more widespread in the British Army than the Warrior.

I bow before the superiority of the points you have just made. :P

Primarily your second point (although the bit about 1975-85 did make me curious as to why the Havoc is in the game but I won't complain otherwise you might take my beloved Mi-28 out of the game).

As to the second part of the first point I really can't comment as I have no idea what you are talking about except that it probably has something to do with socc.....football which I know nothing about. As to the first part.....well I couldn't possibly know if its a secret now could I?
