this will ruin the game if its not dealt with quickly, especially ranked matches as u cant choose who you play

This is ridiculous I BOUGHT this game just like everyone else on this board and we are already seeing hack's 1 1/2 day after the game was launched. I am sure that I am not the only one who is complete outraged by this, I truly hope that the Dev's do some thing about this FAST. If not then they can be sure that they will never see a cent of my money again.

This thread need to get a response from a moderator or developer IMMEDIATELY

I hope the devs get onto this quick . A game can be killed pretty quick if it's players feel there are a lot of cheaters and nothing happening about it.

heh, that has got to be the worst cheater I've ever seen.

Well I was about to buy it BECAUSE of the comp stomp AI implementation, but cheaters already?? and no response frm Dev's, is this is a Steam only game? it should be easy to ban them if so? every game is ruined by some idiot cheating..
I shall hold off our clan purchase untill I see what response there is to the hackers, wow just 2 days in..

RUSE had an anti-cheat implementation which made all your units go to very low resistance and do almost no damage. I've not encounted anybody cheating in wargame yet, but I would have thought it would have been fairly easy for them to port the system over.

Anyway, I'm sure they'll be looking at it, though I imagine there won't be much done over the weekend.

Note - Steam VAC bans take 2 weeks to take effect - I don't recall why.

Essentially you can be detected, then you will be banned 2 weeks later. Strange system.

Also note that if the game is working on VAC bans then reporting won't do anything - Valve do not ban people based on reports and will only use VAC to make bans.
