hi i recently bought Wargame when the beta was out and when it finished downloading i opend up the program and it came up with the register details before i had time to fill it out i had to go to work so i exited the program. when i came back and opened the program a message came up saying " game did not terminate properly. do you want to run the last good configuration" i clicked yes and then another message came up saying"

final_29.dmp for post-mortem analysis.
the call stack was copied to the clipboard
press ok to report the dump by mail, cancel to quit."

after i press ok or cancel it goes away but the game still wont start can i get any help i already uninstalled and installed it twice :(

We need information about your hardware configuration:

WINDOWS XP
1. Click Start then Run or press Windows and R keys.
2. Type DXDIAG in the Run window and press Enter key.

WINDOWS VISTA/WINDOWS 7
1. Click Windows Start button or press Windows and R keys.
2. Type DXDIAG in the Search bar (bottom left) or in Run window and press Enter key.

System tab: Windows version, processor model and the amount of RAM memory.
Display tab: name of the graphics controller and the driver date.
Audio tab: name of the audio controller and the driver date.

Please provide us the above information only and not the full content report.

Intel(r)CORE(TM) i7-2630qm CPU @ 2.00ghz (8 CPUs),~ 2.0ghz
8192 ram


Intel(R) HD graphics family
driver date: 21/10/2011
however i also have a nvidia geforce GT540m cuda 2gb

audio name: speakers (realtek high definition audio)
date: 17/05/2011

The game cannot run correctly with the graphics controller INTEL HD. You must switch to the NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 540M graphics controller.
Please right mouse click the Windows background screen and check if you can switch to the NVIDIA graphics controller.

would i need to disable the intel hd graphics if so where would i do that?

Yes, you can simply disable the Intel HD graphics controller and activate the NVIDIA controller. You must do a right-click the mouse on the wallpaper Windows and see if you can switch to NVIDIA graphics controller.

cheers so far for all the reply's, so i found my Nvidia graphics control panel when i right clicked on the windows background and went to manage 3d settings which i changed to high performance Nvidia processor for Wargame instead of the integrated graphics. when the program opened it said the same thing that "game did not terminate properly. do you want to load the last known good configuration"

What is the manufacturer and the model name of your laptop computer?

Otherwise please reset the game settings:

1. Click on Windows Start button then on the Windows username link present at the top right.
2. Open Saved Games folder and delete (or rename) EugenSystems folder.
3. Run Wargame European Escalation.

its an ASUS k53S Series
model number is: k53sv

i did what you told me by deleting the saved game folder or renaming it and opened up wargame this time the "game did not terminate properly. do you want to load the last known good configuration" did not come up but then the other message after that came up which was this:
