I don't really know, if you are a fan of the Huey, you might get a role playing urge to use them. Other than that idk. I've never used them, can they ferry troops at all once called in? If they made them another transport option for infantry that would give them a use, since PACT can deploy infantry in armored gunships.

Having two gunship slots is always nice, in case you run out of cobra deployments?

Wasnt directed at u, just a general statement :P

The gunship would make sense if it replaces the standard huey as a transport.

^^I really wish it would.

Although, you could go full Vietnam, have the gunships lay down a barrage of rockets and have the huey's drop off riflemen with Fortunate Son playing in the background :D

I guess it's there in case you want hogs but don't have the space for Cobras? I think? Maybe?

It doesn't explain why the Heavy Hog is better for the role, and at a cheaper price, but hey what do I know?

The UH-1M gunship is way better than the Cobra, I only use them as air as their anti-ground forces weapons are way superior.

The Heavy Hog, not only is it cheap but is equipped with rocket pods and a nose mounted grenade launcher. The thing will make short work of lightly armored vehicles and against tanks it has the unique ability the 'stun' over and over. If you need to assault AA units, the Hog is best because it can lock down the target while ground or other air forces can come in and finish. One of the best nato support aircraft we have.

Or just use a cobra and outrange the aa with a tow (or an apache with a hellfire)
