i would like to see some sort of weapons reticle shown like the supply units have for their supply range, would be nice to see how far i have to more forward to shoot something. note: i do not want to be able to see the opponents range as that would cause all sorts of problems for the game.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but either stacking of map icons when zoomed out like in Ruse, or at the very least auto gridding them so that they don't overlap, which makes unit selection a PAIN.

EDIT* Also, if different unit types are grouped together, only display Icon of highest ranking unit, or if all same rank, show icon of highest unit in tech tree or something.

I would like to see the ability to comp stomp implemented into the game, these co-op matches are a nice and fun break from pvp and a must have in my oppinion.

Unit icons should be added when zoomed in, something like the infantry displaying what type of unit it is. Now im not saying that you need an icon that tells me if its a T55, a T62, T72 or anything like that, just a icon that displays that said unit is a tank, or an AA unit and what not, granted you can see the icons when zoomed out and theyre all explained in the manual but the last thing i want to do in the middle of a firefight is to bring my camera all the way out of the map to figure out which unit is a tank and which unit is an AA. This helps a lot with new people who arent familiar with the units native names, for example in my very first game i played a 4v4, we got helicopter rushed and i spent a good 4 minutes trying to find my damned AA units, after a game or 2 you get used to it and can find units without a problem but from time to time things get really hectic and you lose track of where everything is, you could also argue that i could just start a private match and have a look at all the units but theres a difference between managing an army in an empty server and managing an army while fighting another player.

This has already been mentioned but the ability to see other players decks in a replay would be nice, and a sort of like time bar that allows you to select a certain section of the replay when ever you feel like it.
The only games that comes to mind right now that use this ability are black ops, and company of heroes, im sure there are more.

The ability to set your units facing with right click would be pretty nice too, not sure about formations i dont really mind them too much.

With 300+ units in the game, comparing each others stats becomes quite a pain, so i think a compare button is much needed.

Hello,

so after a few games i also had the i win, but i loose effect.
i was controlling the hole map, he just had a few units left,
but still some points more from the beginning of the the game...

it felt somehow unfair

ok i won, but its seems to be a problem...

maybe it is possible to get some more needed things for a victory
the income could go into the victory points or something like that...

thx, just my 5 cent

Night battles with proper night vision mechanics. For example, stats should include the NV device available to the unit (active/passive IR, FLIR or image intersifier).

More munitions for artillery, namely smoke and illumination. Cluster if it can be balanced. Infantry mortars and automatic fire support mission for them.

Graphical representation of orders given to a unit (green line to move, red to attack, etc.). Especially important when shift-chaining commands.

Countries that I'd like to see in the future: Yugoslavia, South Africa, Israel, Iraq, China, both Koreas, Japan. I know DLC has been ruled out, but has the team said anything about expansion packs?

- Going random in ranked games.

- Indication in menu what kind of ranked games people are looking for and as what side.

- Ability to turn off animation when zooming in and out from sat view (it is disorientating and makes me sick when i do it too many times and i bet there are more people like this).

- Unit comparison in armory.

- Certain units in the game are amphibious but do not swim. BRDM for example. Make them swim.

- Trim the unit pictures in armory so stats will be visible instantly without scrolling... it is annoying and stupid as it is right now.

- In armory make so you select class and nation that you want to see not that you need to deselect all the nations and classes that you don't want to see.

- Ability to rewind replays.

- APCs should have small amount of supples so they can resupply inf squads... not with people just with ammo.

- Return fire option... as animalshadow said on page 9

Smoke, more victory conditions, optional higher unit max and all bugs fixed. These are the four things I want.

I like the game so far and i like that they have included the Military unit counter symbols on the zoomed out satellite view, a very nice touch. My only complaints so far after spending 4/5 hours with the Beta are mainly to do with the interface. What i would love to see, along with unit facing, and being able to create control groups when you deploy, range/sight/distance overlay along with the ability to lay down smoke is, instead of, or as an option to displaying the small and sometimes hard to distinguish unit picture that pops up at the bottom of the screen when you hover over or select a unit on the battle field, is these pictures being replaced with the relevant Military unit counter symbol, this will make things in my view easier at a glance in the heat of battle without trying to figure out whether the picture of the unit is a tank or tank destroyer ect as there are that many units(good thing by the way) that mistaking a tank destroyer for a tank could be your undoing.
If you want to see the pretty little picture of your unit along with the more detailed information you hit the tab key, i think the interface although a little better than in Ruse in some respects is not as clear in others and has some room for improvement.
I am curious why Eugene have opted to keep using this UI considering its inferior to more traditional tried and tested UI schemes. This Ruse interface was developed to be game console pad friendly as i understand it, do i smell a port in the future?

try take a look at the fuel use for some of the units. its kind a lame that you cant move move then a few hundred meters before tanks have to refuel and yes if your trying to say " but its realism " tanks in WW II and today can go more then afew hundred . we are talking kilometres and miles. and the scale on the maps dont give you the impression that its more then 3-5 km/ 2-3Miles wide

I like that your units can get minor problems like get stuck and such, but do it have to happen every 2sec a unit have moves anywhere ells then on a road ?

I miss some unit "history" like in RUSE to know more about the unit IRL (like MadMat has done in his Game art and Unit of the day topics)
