The game has mixed up my W and Z keys, my A and Q keys, my M and ; keys, and it thinks my . key is delete.
When I try to change the Camera up key, I press W and it sets it to Z.

It doesn’t run for me at all,

Code: Select all
Game update: AppID 58610 "Wargame: European Escalation", ProcID 16503, IP 0.0.0.0:0
Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 58610
Steam_SetMinidumpSteamID:  Caching Steam ID:  76561197970948899 [API loaded no]
saving roaming config store to 'sharedconfig.vdf'
roaming config store 2 saved successfully
Illegal instruction (core dumped)
Game removed: AppID 58610 "Wargame: European Escalation", ProcID 16504

The core file is 362MB so it might be a while to upload it anywhere, but I did have a go at gdb it, though this isn’t useful:

Code: Select all
gdb program core
Core was generated by `/media/editing/Steam/SteamApps/common/Wargame European Escalation/Wargame'.
Program terminated with signal 4, Illegal instruction.

DerDevil, TheDaftRick: Anything special regarding your keyboard ? Which mapping do you use ?
johndrinkwater: Illegal instruction ? What is your processor model, may be you can give me the output of the gdb disassemble command as well.

Pasting the cd-key from steam to the game doesn't work(I have confirmed that it is in the clipboard)

kubuntu (KDE) 64-bit system(don't think you need any other specs for the time being)

It’s a AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 840 Processor, fairly recent quad core, havent had any issue with it with my current selection of Steam titles.
disassemble on the core file produces:
Code: Select all
(gdb) disassemble
No function contains program counter for selected frame.

worked out how to run it outside of Steam, and can produce a better, if still undebuggable bt:
Code: Select all
(gdb) bt

This is a normal QWERTY keyboard. And I use Polish keymap.
Wargame is the first game on Linux where I had this problem.
