So lost 11 points to a crash, then a further 18 to a 2v2 loss (which, of course, I completely blame my teammate for!). Oops. There goes my campaign!

I just lost over 40 points to 2 disconnects, not crashes, just straight disconnects from the game without actually the game closing. There wasn't even a count down, just a message that said you have been disconnected from the game and the defeat screen popping up immediately.

The problem is, TS and Steam never even burped. WTF?

Really would love those points back since I was winning the first by 700+ and the second was very early.

It's not about the ELO, it's just really annoying in general because from any other perspective my internet was fine, and those losses set you back 10x what you would've gained even though you had no part in actually losing.

I'd really prefer if a DC looked at current points and totaled it from there, that way someone quitting while 200+ down still loses but someone winning still wins and close games are a draw. A little bit more exploitable but at least not so terrible when your connection drops out, or doesn't at all, in my case.

Hugely exploitable! Just pull the plug when you're winning! Start 100% rocket arty, fire, kill something (anything!) and plug pull. Game won! Alternatively "I'm up on points by a chunk but about to lose my last command post" so pull plug and win!

True, give people an opportunity to be as it's going to happen often, guess I was just irritated by what happened. Hopefully doesn't happen much more.

However, please note that this will only be a display change, as it wont affect in the slightest the ELO rating!
