Well, this doesn't actually say it's a new game mode :) Could be just some interesting map design. Still nice of course...

If they allowed new victory conditions it'd make this the best update for the game so far.

Nope this is probably the full feature-list of the DLC ;)

Seven new maps, flares, multiplayer AI and one game-mode. Sounds good :)

Seems my hunch was correct, the maps come with the same victory conditions: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4076

That's still an interesting new take. I think we've seen Assault game modes for a while already ;)

MP AI and Map Flares ("Pinging") are what we would expect from a Day 1 release in main stream RTS releases these days. I do appreciate the effort the developers have done to add these much requested standard features back into the game though!

Looking forward to the new maps as well, and for ranked matches, the symmetric maps would make for better ranked matches for those who want a fair fight! I must admit I'm a bit disappointed that there won't be any more asymmetrical maps besides the two Siege mode maps!

That said, eagerly waiting for its release!

"- possibility to reset the command stars you spent"

Doesn't this make the command star system pretty much worthless? A deck can only hold about 50 stars at most, so with sufficient re-buying you can set up any deck you want after unlocking only about 5% of the stars. They're already easy enough to come by, and will become increasingly so as the average level of players increases. This makes the mechanic irrelevant.

The command star mechanic was never about keeping players from using units but to give players a reason to try out only a few new units at a time.

Thank you! This is amazing, and you're quickly becoming one of my favourite game companies :) Very impressed by the way you listen to the community, despite the fact that it tends toward the whiny at times ;)
