I knew this happened, and was really hoping it stopped. Silent changes that dramatically change the effectiveness of a unit is incredibly annoying. Completely fine with it happening, I just like to know it is.
But at the same, here's hoping more is happening for balance then this patch suggests.
TBH I never found the Hellfire to be UP, that once is a surprise.
And the VTS Jihad has been occuring in the 1700+ range for a few weeks now. Now you can just bring less (12 is still easily enough, most never bring more then 16 at once) and vet them out a little better. Met up with 15-30 squads of cannon fodder infantry to shield your main units, it's still incredibly broken. Mirror it up with some cheap rocket helos, and there's not a whole lot you can do. Really makes playing ranked games as PACT either a blessing (new players tend to play NATO) or a joke, with rarely a good match at the higher levels.
Also was hoping this range bug with the AML fixed, starting to notice it more and more and is getting annoying to micro the ranges constantly.
