Hi guys, Will here.
Just saw DEFCON on sale on Steam for like, 2 quid. If I were to buy it, would anyone like to have a game or two with me? As there is so much intrest in the Cold War period here , I thought that we could hash up quite an interesting dilemma of people going nuke crazy :)

Regards,

Will

Normally I'd jump at this but between WEE and DCS titles, I'm all booked-up at the moment...

I might get it though and save it for later...

Hummm...decisions decisions decisions...

DEFCON is a fantastic game.....I've had it for years.

The story surrounding DEFCON, the little indie studio that made it and the game's release on STEAM is actually a nice "how another indie studio survived" story. I would post a link to it but I seem to have forgotten where I read all of that.....

I would have liked a game between HOI and DefCon in concept with a good engine. Ie you have higher tactical and operational levels as well (that you can leave to AI), and the whole strategic/nuclear part)

Good game ... and the occasion of many (very nasty) betrayals here at Eugen, a few years ago ... ;)

Interesting...

About DEFCON... I played it... too depressing. I prefer games where die 500 000 man tops

If you want a truly devastating experience play DEFCON and then watch "threads" at the end.
