The MiG-21 Bis addon has me interested, but I'd love to see a dynamic campaign implemented into DCS first...

I believe I read that this is in the world somewhere but don't quote me on that. I think there are going for a perpetual universe where you can come and go as you please much like the Warfare mod for ARMA2.

This would be fantastic...we can only hope...

I dont think the engine would support that, since its built from the opposite perspective. I mean that it models Air, then ground, and barely does infantry.

ArmA2 by default is the exact opposite :P Its infantry, vehicles, and awful air. It has been community mods like ACE that made ArmA2's gameplay spectacular and expanded massively on all fronts. I think ArmA3 will be the next step.

What I DO hope to do is draw in friends who have interest in sims etc, but dont want to invest in a stick and learn a thousand buttons to click. I think that the game will offer that unique opportunity for that genre of players.

Oh CA will never be infantry your right but to make it "like" warfare with planes and vehicles wouldn't be a stretch.

I hope ARMA3 is more like warfare as ARMA2 vanilla is actually kinda annoying.

And yes, stay away from flying in CA if you don't want to have to take a college level course on how to fly...it's incredibly hard. I personally can cold launch an A10 in about 5 minutes and have using Mavericks down to about 7 minutes...lol...my god it's painful...

RTFM (it is 600 pages long, if my memory serves me right).

671 front to back...

Honestly, the flying part is easy but the systems...ugh...you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I finally figured-out how to contact other towers or planes...

I know it's just a sim but when you watch documentaries and you hear pilots talk about overload, tunnel vision and situational awareness, A10 really puts that into perspective.

I'm looking forward to the Mig21 and P51 as maybe my little brain can handle them
