I used to play Wargame on my old laptop fine with no problems. I now use a desktop, and can't seem to get the game to work. It will work fine and run perfectly smoothly on high settings, but suffers random blue screen crashes.
It says something along the lines of "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor".

This is the only game I have problems with, I can run Shogun 2, Diablo 3, ARMA 2, Red Orchestra 2, etc without any problems whatsoever.

EDIT: I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The error seems to imply a hardware problem but I just tried running other games and none of them crashed even after a few hours of continuous play.

I have found a way to get it working (I think). Just played it for 90 minutes without it crashing.
The way I did it was using the AMD Catalyst thing to manually set might GPU fan to way higher than it normally is (I set it to 60%, on auto it normally never gets above about 30%). The result is a very noisy computer, but a game that runs.
Seems odd that it doesn't do it on any of my other games though. Any thoughts on what could cause it?

All games create different load levels on CPUs and GPUs so...You might also want to blow-out your Gfx card as that bad-boy should be ok with WEE.

With compressed air (no vacuums or mouths!).

Over times, the heatsinks and fan plus air passageways get gunked-up with lint and such so it's a good idea to do this every 6-8 months or as needed. I have a cat named Hairy...for a reason...and I need to do this about every 3-4 months for my tower...

There are good tutorials (youtube) showing how to do this but it's not for the faint at heart. I hate laptops so...

A computer store can do this for you and should charge too much.

Oh right ok thanks. Computer case and maybe the heat sink for the CPU could probably do with it but my graphics card is new, only had it about 2 months so I don't imagine that will need a clean just yet. Same with the fan on my PSU.
