What DRM has W:EE have? (steam).

I've researched and there seem to be some conflicting statements. However I can assume it has Starforce DRM? I would preferably not have intrusive DRMs. Steamworks (e.g. assign key to a account) is enough.

Also what DRM has Airland Battle going to have? I've already got W:EE and love it.

There used to be one. Removed since.

Since the DRM has been removed, I'm pretty sure at some point ALB will do the same thing.

Free DLC, no more DRM, it's almost like Eugen respects their customers or something!

Strangely, even when they're wrong (it was a harmless piece of tool), but you know what they say - "the customer is always right".

DRM was probably more problems that it was worth. Free dlc is because they are adding what they left out in release either because of time shortage or lack of sense (flares, UI changes ect.)

Allso DRM doesn't really make sense with this game. SP is not like lets say Mass Effect. Real charm of this game is multi... and you can't play pirate multi.

thanks for the info. probably get AB aswell then :)

some drm are bad. such as limits how many times you can install a game. yes they have a uninstaller but sometimes windows corrupts. and i dont want to uninstall all my games one by one when i want to reformat.

some drm decreases pc performance. some even corrupts windows.

i cant wait for AB :)
