I do NOT mean the atgm, I mean the missile/rocket launcher of which it got about 20. The same rockets the Mi7 got. Thats what makes the Mi-24P so special the HE3 rockets and twin autocannon.

You mean the rockets then, not the missile.

An MI-8TV cannot defend itself from other helis. The HMG and Yak-B are not that amazing guns but some defense vs other helis will always come handy.
Also I have had times when these Mi-24s have gone their way through AA infantry and APCs and actually managed to put an ATGM up an armoured command(fact remains that accuracy severely increases when standing right over a unit)

The problem with that is most enemies the Hind will meet in the air have much better AA weapons, and the Hind will get chewed up. Even a pair of Gazelle Cannons will tear shreds into the Hind, as will a single AH-1S. And sure, those missile can kind of hit stuff when at point-blank range, but then your Hind is in danger of getting gunned down by the MG's that are often on top of vehicles.

First volley hit and long aiming again.

guys this was a comparison of hind and cobra not gunships that is for another time
back to hind v. cobra mi-24p is the best all around due to the long ranged missiles though the cobra F model is also comparable due to the high accuracy excellent rockets smaller size faster speed and excellent cannon imo the reason to get these higher tier helos is for at purposes so in this case the mi24p would be better for lower models however i feel the cobra deffinately takes it as i see this job as a stunning/hunter job where the cobra s is excellent for this

The problem is that the Kokon missiles hit far less than their Armory accuracy rating would indicate.

So much for the "pact missiles are the best" nonsense  The devs should start improving the acc of this missile or it have the acc rating of 5-4 in the armory. As to which is better, codra because it has better missiles and is more agile. I dont care about HP because every helo is when its locked on by rolands or chappies no matter how much HP it has. Also why do I need a helicopter whith crappy ATGMs when about 70% of the land forces of the enemy consists of tanks and AA?

It doesn't help that many helo's will rout after being hit once, and instead of actually "running away" it seems the most common helicopter response to to rapidly stop (faster than you could ever hope to tell them manually) and proceed to just wait there while the enemy fires again.

With such a consideration the cobra would be better, as the 2 top-tier Mi-24 are overpriced and useless.

The AH-1S Cobra has that broken main gun that out ranges basically every other helicopter. @.@
