after the 1914 again mission I am SICK of it. I was able to do it before the last patch and now its freakin impossible. We should get more command points and the enemy shoudlnt have unlimited numbers. Mission is driving me insane. I knowI know"it was easy for me" WELL THATS YOU. They really need a skip mission option because I honestly HATE this mission

Holding India is pretty much impossible but if you just hold on to the starting zone and the 2 to the east of it, its not that hard. Just hide tanks and AA in the bushes where they can take out enemy units before they cross the bridges.

Tried that and I had enemy units coming from ALL directions the best units in never stopping waves. I still wonder why the enemy gets T-80s in so many numbers when they really didnt have that many in this time period and I barely able to field a good NATO tank.

They only sent 2 T80s at me on that mission, and it was like 5 seconds before I got the 2000 points. Did they go and change the balance of that mission in a patch or something?

When I played it they usually sent 1-2 recon helos and a BMP or 2-3 tanks every minute or 2.

I counted several t-80 groups and they kept coming from all directions at the same time attacking . Heck a group snuck in and attacked me from the sw a couple of times. This mission is ridiculously hard. Why does it exist ? answer me developers! please?

Put some flamers, medium tanks, autocannons and inf on the hilltops. Position them in a way that they can be only shot at by units on the hill. At point blank range, your flamers will dominate the enemy units. Secure the town on the left flank with your starting Legion FAMAS in AMX10 and 4 AMX30B2. Secure your left flank with helicopters.

cant even get to the hill tops stupid helicopters always waiting for me gunning down anything that moves. This mission REALLY needs some balance changes becasue its the WORST mission I've ever done in a game. They want you to do it a specific way not sure what way but I am getting slaughted trying it every possible way I've read and watched online and look more t80s coming. They really need to rebalance this mission. Its much harder then it should be. Right now on my screen I counted 5 helicopter formations and 2 groups of 2 t-80s coming to me. My forces? slaughterd as usual. They some how know EXCATLY where all my command units are and hit them first then finish my forces off. Wish I had a god view I could to this alot easier like the cpu can.

This mission is pretty intense. It took me 7 attempts to finish it with all secondary objectives completed and with acceptable losses (I lost about 900 points of units).

It is possible to finish this mission AND hold on to India. But you will have to set up your defenses as quickly as possible, and you will need to micro those units as if your life depends on it.

That strategy works very well if you set up your positions before the enemy arrives. You will also need rolands/chaps for AA defense. Personally I would use the AMX30B2s to help my 2 heavy tanks + infantry defend India. As an alternative, a couple of well placed special forces infantry in the town in Juliett would be sufficient to secure the left flank (the FOB keeps them healthy).

If you have good recon, you will be able to use helicopters effectively as long as you avoid the AA units. the rockets will usually demoralize an incoming attack force which makes them more combat ineffective and easier to destroy.

Edit: btw there's already a thread about this topic: http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9835

and demonizing doesn't seem to help either. Tried motor and rocket attacks and didn't slow them down one bit.

You should have the AMX32, Challenger 1, and Leopard 2/2A1 in this mission (if unlocked). Their longer range guns really change the dynamic of this, and help ALOT with defending from the far side of the river.
