Why would I buy a T72B at 120 over a T80A for 125?

More ATGMs, more accurate ATGMs, "normal" sized as opposed to big so easier to hide. Whether this is worth less armour and a slighty worse main gun is up to you, I personally think it is not hence I don't have the T-72 in my deck. With the T-64 BV at 130 points and the T-80A at 125 I will never use the T-72B.

I've still seen T-72Bs since the price was increased, so clearly not everyone shares my opinion. Definitely fewer than there were though, maybe the price increase was overdone.

So we all agree that T64 series and T80s makes the T72 worthless.

It's not the same price x)

The "problem" imo about russian tanks is that all the old series have a version with a gun as powerful as the T80s. Those 80 points T-64 are by far my favorite Mid tier tanks.

T72 series? LOL, who uses that overpriced hunk-o-shit?

-edit-

Just checked its stats... Might try incorporating the T72A into my strategies replacing the T64A and see how that goes.

I really like the T-72's for their operational range. So I do use them sometimes if I know I'm gonna sent a taskforce all the way down a flank. But on most occasions you will need to refuel support units and all that on the way regardless. So you might as well pick a more fuel hungry T-64 then. :)
But it is a point to consider when picking the tank.
