quit whining about the low price of the t-55 WP had what over 100,000 t-55s ready to go IRL and they were cheap

t-55 rushes are easily defeated you see if coming destroy your own fobs so they cant refuel and just move you tanks away till they run out of gas

Two level 5 Lynx AH 7 TOW 2s = 24-32 dead t-55s without reload.

Was so satisfying a few minutes ago, watching them TOWs pick them off casually every few moments

Hey! Look, whats that over there? Oh its a Buk M1!

Hey! Look, what's that over there? The flaming hulk of a former Buk M1 that I dealt with before deploying expensive air assets because I'm not an idiot!

With only 16 ATGM ? I don't know how you do it, but you're good :D

And how, exactly, do you do that with a VTS1/T-55 force in between your ground forces and the Chap/Buk?

There's a difference between saying it and doing it.

By not going straight through the enemy. By prioritising targets. By having better recon.

I was thinking of two squadrons of them from my last game

Again, easy to say, hard to do. This isn't a static enemy force, they're attacking you immediately and aiming to cripple you within the first 5 minutes of the game. They wont care if you can see them because they have concluded that you likely cannot respond fast enough to save your expansion anyway (which is true for the most part). As far as prioritising targets goes you're kind of screwed since your facing an overwhelming ground force + AA that's going to hang back and come into firing range of your ground force if helo's appear. So you can either break cover and charge their AAs, letting them mop the floor with you even easier, or you can sit back and fight the ground war against a superior force. Either way, you lose.

I will also note that against the VTS1 "superior maneuvering" (IE; going around their main force) doesn't work as they can go as fast as any of your tanks can.

I have yet to have anybody actually beat the VTS1 rush on the ground. Even when they know it's coming.

The comparison people draw to the low tier Pact tanks is invalid due to the VTS1s speed. Of course a "fast move to enemy base strategy" is rarely effective, but well managed VTS1s can chose their engagements. Lower tier Pact tanks are too slow to do this, and it makes a huge difference.

Still think they're undpriced for their power at the moment.
