So I love delta force with huey as their transport. But is there a point to upgrading. Other than the slight increase of the vehicles stats there isn't any difference besides cost. So why get a delta squad in thr blackhawk instead of just the base huey version.

As has been said before the chopper transports should be infantry resupply. Make them only resupply infantry.
it doesn't have to be the unit they dropped of but infantry resupply only would be awesome. That goes for armor transports as well

I love airborn delta but once I drop them off I just send the hueys to my fod to sit there.

Rarely have I reused them to redeploy my squads somewhere else as they either never get to fight or they are in the think of battle till they get killed or the enemy retreats. I would love using their choppers to resupply.them while my chinooks supply my tanks and recons and what not.

Seems logical as I usually keep a delta squad and an AT squad in the woods and sometimes a Aa squad there as well
Side note I hate leapord 1 tanks they are so weak and easy to destroy. Wish I had not wasted my points on them and just went with tje.patton again.

Blackhawks are much faster, land the troops faster, and have twice the HP.

I don't understand the point about only resupplying infantry with armored supply... Or heli's for that matter. they helicopters carry the missiles the ATGM vehicles need.. I can't say much about 'fuel' as thats a bit odd... but ya

I really only want transport choppers to be able to run small arms resupplys. So that's why I say infantry only resupply. That way u don't get a crap load of free logi vehicles that can resupply tanks and arty and such but they would be able to bring some 7.62 and 5.56 nato rounds to the infantry. And help them repair their gear. And then the transports would be useful for more than droppin their squad off and the rare event of picking a squad up or being cannon fodder crappy recon.

Really I dpnt even care if they allow that if they would allow infantry to be dropped of.at the fob by a transport truck that then leaves and goes back to whatever place that our reinforcements come from. Then we can ferry those vehicless infantry
Infantry around

Yep... would be nice if this kind of info were somewhere in the game, though. The average player won't have a clue about this.

The speed is. The rest... should be in the armoury, though landing speed may be proportional to speed.

the hp and squad size should really be in the armory (not just "small" "big" etc)
also the minimum range of arty should be in.

and about helo transports... they really should land faster it takes hours for them to land in that time i could have used fast armored transport to get there :X (well exaggerating a bit)

and i guess what the OP means is that the transport chopppers and the transport vehicles should carry ammo and stuff for their infantry (but only for them) which actually is quite a good idea, but might be a bit to strong for certain infantry units (ATGM teams refilling rockets all the time is quite strong ^^)

Yeah that'd be great actually, that way you could make more use of the Huey's and stuff. A few extra missiles would be good.

Didn't realise though that Delta Force LAW's are only 700m. Accurate as yeah but ouch range.
