you can tell these guys did their homework, and I doubt any of us can appreciate the levels they went to making the decisions they did.. we only question it from the outside looking in...

Someone will probably eventually mod the game to include additionnal units like that mortar you spoke of, in non ranked matches of course

Would be nice to a British AT squad ... Not sure what weapon system we had though

The Milan, which replaced with Javelin in 05. We also mounted it on Spartans.

Because it has been on the drawing tables from the mid/late 70's, and we consider that, had international crisis occured or a full war been declared in the mid-80's, such projects would have received massive funding and be completed much earlier than reality.

To be fair, that is true of pretty much everything that entered service in the 90s including the Chally 2, Warrior, M1A2, Leclerc, etc. If the reasoning is more along the lines of "Havoc is really cool while those units wouldnt differ too much from ones already in the game," then that is fair enough. Although I think a 2/2/1/1 autocannon IFV with fusiliers in it would also be really cool ;)

If we're dreaming, then British tanks/apcs should be extra resistant to morale effects, as a boiling vessel is a standard feature on our armoured vehicles, allowing the men to brew a nerve steadying cuppa during firefights. :P

No, the Havoc really was meant to be fielded much earlier but wasn't actually due to the collapse of the Soviet Union, and that's why we've included it as a counterweight to the Apache.
And we didn't included our own chauvinisitc Leclerc because the project was too young, in our timeframe, in comparison with the Mi-28, even if the former tank actually entered service in the French army a decade before the later chopper.
We just 'gave a boost' to some ongoing projects from our timeframe.

In fact all British infantry units should have morale boost whenever they're not moving as at least one of them is getting a brew on.

Seems like we need a bit more of 'Asterix and the Britons' here. (already posted on the BAOR clan's thread)
If you want to know everything about the British way of fighting:

BTW - If it rains all British Infantry should go to half speed as their webbing now ways 5 x as much, oh the memories :)

That's an interesting idea.
We'll keep it in mind for a patch. ;)

Maybe for Corps! But Infantry are fighting fit. Contact drills ditch the bergans and then your on belt webbing for the fight and its nothing to a strong fit soldier.

Honestly webbing with your ammo and basic food and water is nothing and if you can't march with your gear then you should not be infantry.

UK Inf say if its not raining then were not training.

He was making reference to 58 pattern webbing which could soak up roughly half a gallon of water per pouch, or felt that way anyway. A bit before your time i expect, it was before the cordura stuff came in.
