Primarily your second point (although the bit about 1975-85 did make me curious as to why the Havoc is in the game but I won't complain otherwise you might take my beloved Mi-28 out of the game).

As to the second part of the first point I really can't comment as I have no idea what you are talking about except that it probably has something to do with socc.....football which I know nothing about. As to the first part.....well I couldn't possibly know if its a secret now could I?

He's chatting about rugby and the 6 nations championship. Rugby is a bit like american football with out all that namby pamby armour lmao.

Six Nations ... football?!? Sacrilege!!!! This is rugby!
Six Nations is a yearly event opposing the six major European rugby nations: France, Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales & Italy. Up until the 90's, it was only the Five Nations, before Italy entered the game. For a decade, they had been everybody's punching-ball, but they've improved each year and in 2011 even ended beating us for the first time!
As was once said on this forum, Six Nations is a bit "ganging up against England", for everybody else usually supports two teams: their own and any other playing against England at the time. As for us, the yearly France-England is always the most awaited rugby event, and the occasion to summon every grudge from Azincourt to Waterloo. ;)

Last weeks tries:

And don't mention football again:

Ah rugby! A sport I can stand behind (although really any sport that involves what normal society would define as "assault and battery" is a sport I can stand behind). What's wrong with the armor? Makes them look more intimidating than short shorts.

BAHAHA!!!! Have no fear will not mention football again (not my thing). Though honestly I'm a bit surprised to find out it has spread beyond the British Commonwealth. Now that I know about the Six Nations though......GO TEAM SCOTLAND!!!!!

I agree with SirNoltyboy: the armor makes them look cumbersome at best. If they're afraid of contact, why didn't they play ping-pong?

And could they run that way with their armor:

Some of the best teams are from the Southern hemisphere, with Australia, South Africa, the dreaded New-Zealand (always refered to as "the All Blacks" because of their shirt) and Argentina, France's personal nemesis (they beat us all too often).

The difference between Rugby and football, and the reason we wear pads is football is a collision sport, where collision is not encouraged in rugby. Hats off to rugby players, but the two really are apples and oranges in their rules and the way the game is played.

Too afraid of contact? Do you know how many sports injuries are suffered in US football? US football is probably the only reason why sports medicine is taught at US universities.

Australia.....South Africa.....New Zealand....correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all three of those nations former British colonies?

Yes: France, Argentina & Italy are the only non-English speaking major countries of rugby. And Italy & Argentina have very small rugby leagues, most of their professional players playing in France.
And in France, rugby is the sport of the South-Western part of the country, the one that has been under English rule the longest (and was one of the main cause of the Hundred Year War).

So, yes, rugby is an English sport ... at which we've become better than them ...

It's true, they're better rugby players. Unfortunately we win every match by default because the French team always gives into their genetic instinct and surrenders ;)

That is, when you aren't surrendering at just the thought of us gracing the field with our presence.

He says, noting that you've got one more six nations win than us...
