I am not a great player, so maybe for high level it is different. But it really did ruin the experience for me, encountering rush players, of course I lost the first few times, now I can generally (still not always) counter them.

But basically it sucks win or lose, I lost to 50 skots/vabs/zhalo whatever coming down road boring, I flanked/stalled 50 skots/vabs and snipe cv for a win, also boring.

I spend more time deploying troops then playing the actual match.

A very destructive infantry rush I encountered on Summer Night. 3v3 one did only SKOT and behind him one that got only heavy tanks and aa. The 3rd enemy had arty and a defensive line at the other side of the map. That was nasty.

We at PLF had a lot of headaches with your clan infantry rushes. Our history started that you owned us quite easily but last couple of games were very even. So therefore I give WTF? a lot of credit. Not because I like infantry rushes, but because you're damn good at it. We lost you at Le Fight first round (mostly because of my noobish play) but I'm quite suprised that you roll over as easily all other clans too. FIGHT get quite close but when you retreat as much as they did, rushers got so big point income advantage that it's almost impossible to win then.

i got inf rushed several times,
first i learned to break em,
then i learned to do it better :)

i think breaking up the lines with fast incoming apcs
is something what is done in real war too...
why sacrife costy units for that?

(maybe major is coming now... realism greetz lol)

for what are units like jäger, motostrelci,
piota smech etc when not for that?
the real point is there fastness and using that in a really forward way
often just freezes the opponets and they do nothing

i think the eugen ppl thought about too

To counter an infantry rush you need $$, so try not to spend all your points in the beginning.

Secondly, you want a fast recon. Helicopter works best.

Thirdly, you want to spend your saved $$ on counters. Autocannons, helis, etc.

Generaly pact is better suited for rushes with their 5 men motostrelci, quite the opposite of why Eugen made them 5 man squads, because you have twice the amount of targets for the same price compared to NATO riflemen (on fast apcs).
And i like the Buratino a lot better for countering any NATO rush, than any artillery on NATO side. That being said, maybe its time to use the MLRS again.

But 5 man squads will go down to 2 tank shells, 10 men squads require 3. (assuming 3-4HE). Cheap transports are also unarmed, meaning you need to pay 20 points for troops and the effective 14.5mm or 15points for the relatively ineffective 7,62mm.

It dropped me also almost of my "clan leaders" chair. ;) .Dont know what Sun Tzu would say about Spektres post :lol: .But i guess he made it to make our games more interesting,because it seems that only you PLF and some other people we pwned can counter us....To be really honest,in the start i didnt like the infantry rushes,or any kind of rushes.But when i realised that 90% of good players camp and make arty and slowly progress,i said to my self,this is not the strategie i wanna spend my life time to.So i met Koei,our W:-EE infatry rush mentor.His words are-infantry rushes always work,you just have to know how :lol: :lol: .
Only thing is that Koei kind of got bored of inf. rushing and non stop wining in WEE,so we must fight to get him even to play with us,and then i must again fight to make him do his almost everytime working inf rush.
Here is one example when we play with Koei(in this game his name is "?") after he had 2 bottles of wine,and that against french clan LVA :lol: .
