Just a random rant about the gniewocz being a useless POS because it doesn't have the strela 3 or malyutka P.

Buy them vetted. They are very expensive but you get a good ATGM, cannon and SAM this way.

Even with better accuracy at max vet (52%) MCLOS ATGM will always be very slow which reduces effectiveness and survival time of the chopper.
Strella 3 has short range, needs 2 hit to shoot a NATO chopper and you're ennemy will certainly be far away before he takes 2 shot because this chopper is one of the slowest. And it will cost you 120 !!

A bad investment with or without veterancy.

I wonder why pact has an AA helo with crappy missiles. Coudnt they just have put another version with something like the strela-3?

Just like the NATO helis, the airbourne AAM is useless - I fly straight at them and shoot them down. I shot down two OH-58 (?) last night with a Havok despite it's terrible autocannon for AA.

Pact basically have no airborne AA - Gniewocz is a joke and Mi-24 are far weaker than their stats suggest. NATO's best airborne AA are Cobras which rip up all Pact helis even when outnumbered.

That'w why I don't have Gniewosz in my deck... though for a second I started to think that is one one of those good units with crappy stats. Glad it isn't.

I would LOVE it if these things had the Strela-3. Alas, they only have the Strela-2, which sucks.

Gniewosz is a joke, with 60 CP worth its easly amongs the worst air units in the whole game.

PACT has more reliable ground AAA than the OTAN (9K37, 9K33, Tugunska), feels balanced to me that NATO has better Air to air options. BTW the bast AA heli for the pact is the Mi24P : a 30mm gun with 400rpm hurts. For the same price 2 Cobra AH-1S will still beat it but with 10HP you have enough time to shoot one of them and fall back.
The Mi24P will beat any other heli 1v1
