Haha, thanks for the info, however I am planning a fictional modern day Arab uprising as I do not like portraying any non-fictional conflicts.

the info will still help me with my project though, so it's not in vain :D

I say a ww2 naval mod for .. and with the extensiveness of the game already you could do all nations.
WW2 in general (or combination a total mod with every unit used in ww2 this would be epic)

A ww1 naval mod.. Battle of Jutland would be intense.


Warhammer 40k mod? Idk how close combat would work...

A deckless mode where you get to use everything you have unlocked..... this I believe would open up some more tactics and stop people from bringing on just their favourites.
I like the idea of decks, but also think their are many units that you just never see because of them.

P.S. I have put this in the suggestions thread just now. But am also putting it up for "debate" here, which you cannot do in the suggestions thread.

That'd be interesting, a "Total War" game mode.

But there's nothing to stop them from bringing in their favorites, but I guess you can also play their game.

Too much stuff, UI breaks down. But random deck mode, infinite req points mode (obviously timed game) and "pick one of these 20 pre-made theme decks" mode could be fun. In theory there's nothing preventing that last one, it's just that there isn't common ground with decks and new people don't have enough stars for different theme decks.

What I want most is the Asian theater of this same fictional war.

China
North Korea
Vietnam

vs

United States (with a focus on Marine Corps units)
South Korea
Japan

Japan would be interesting since they haven't been in a war game set after WW2. They're perfect for W:EE too since they use all their own stuff instead of relying on U.S. exports. They have no force projection capabilities since they're a defense force, but its not a huge stretch to imagine the U.S. Navy ferrying them across the Sea of Japan in an emergency.

If not Japan, India or Australia would be cool.


More simply though, I just want desert and snow maps for the vanilla game. I'd also be willing to pay for mini-factions like Norway, Canada, Italy, etc. for NATO and some more Pact countries.

General:

-new theatres/ terrain, wheater effects
-new objects; stationary radar, fortifications, trenches, minefields, large cities
-new units- naval, amphibious

Units control:
- patrol order
- advanced waypoints managment
- more movement/attack type (probe, assault, etc.)
