Hello guys!

I got this game friday and played the singleplayer to get to know the game and its mechanics :) So far I like it, but what frustrates me is the supply chain!

Especially on the 4th mission where I needed to assault the airfield. It was the first time I ran 4 cobra's and at the start I used them with every attack. They eat trough FOB's like crazy!

Then my tanks (leo's and chieftains), I had about 8. They go through fuel as well! Theres a lot of things needing fuel and supplies on the field and my FOB's where all going out of business.

Is there anything I'm missing?

I also went for both secondary objectives. Is that something I should not do? Go for one secondary the first time and play through it again for the second?

When you call in new supply vehicles, they come full. Use it to your advantage.

Also, you can steal undefended enemy FOBs.

Thanks :) I did all those things. I've played 3 multiplayer games so far and havent had the same problems yet. But Its still very hard to fidle with supplies. Although its nice that the dev's put that element in.

It sounds to me you are moving to the FOBs to resupply? Do you know that you can refill trucks at FOBs?

Just have a train of trucks alternating between FOBs and your units. Also be careful what to supply. you want to use supplies for damaged units and to replenish critical ammo. A healthy tank with half full fuel tank will waste supplies. Wait until the fuel icon is appearing.

And ofc always use fast move for road movement so your army wont drain too much fuel.

It's not a waste of fuel to refuel tanks as necessary. Waiting until they are low just puts them in a worse position if the AI attacks come rolling in. It will take the same amount of supplies to fill a tank twice at 1000L and once at 2000L.
I understand what you mean as in you'd rather prioritize ammo and repairs if they were at half fuel and damaged, but ideally in SP you have more trucks/birds then your vehicles demand. What would be most useful is the trucks showing fuel/ammo/repairs as ammo you can turn on/off.

I've been doing both. Going to FOB's and getting in trucks/helo's.

Good tips tho about seperating my healthy tanks. Because then I can repair more with a batch of supplies instead of the rest eating up all the supplies!

"Amateurs talk tactics, professionals talk logistics."

But yeah, tanks going cross-country will go thru alot of supply. If you send out a group of tanks, send a supply veh or 4. Missle-launcher vehicles should have one nearby.

For Air, sending a supply truck forward as what is called a FARP will help speed their turn time for attacks. Go deep and you will need a supply helo.

Get a good feel for it, and it comes with experience. You can also turn logistics into a weapon :D

Good tips! Especially with the supply point stations. Sort of a mobile FOB!

Today I got the chance to try and take out a supply vehicle (big NATO one) but I didn't take the chance. Would have been a good one tho!

Sending a stealthy infantry unit or two in back of the enemy's deployment route is a great way to capture a whole lot of supply vehicles.

I recently played a 1vs1 match on Dual Field, and we both ended up having our CVs on the same side. We both captured neighbouring control zones, both with deployment routes. The entire match was a war over control of these deployment routes, and I captured at least 6 or 7 NATO supply trucks. Unable to keep the units he had already on the map supplied, and losing control of his one deployment route, he was a sitting duck. I was losing by about 900 points at that point, and ended up coming back to win!
