Hey

I have been trying to listen to the community and figure what it needs. Its been really difficult as many wants way different things.

This is what i will do now:

* Make a place where you can join Cups/Tounaments/Leagues/Ladders (real elo system, instead of the wierd one wargame seems to be using).
* A place where the competition community can evolve.
* Setup Cups/Tournaments, for most weekends. So everyone get the chance to try it.

This i will work on getting up and running in the next few weeks. I deeply hope i can have the first release event up and running the 31. this month.

I will come with alot more information on rules/signup and all the other stuff the comming week.

This will be hosted and administrated by Danish Gaming Club only.
Unless some others want to help to get this jump started, they will be more then welcome.

Ok, so let me get some light in this jungle. So there actually is the War of Nations, this, and the Old Gamers Night. Am I right? And all of those are clan competitions/battles but with somehow the same persons and clans attending and all happens simultanously?

Sorry, but I'm confused.

(hosted by PLF) Well the oldies gaming night is a fun event happening with out much administration and nothing is recorded from it.

(hosted by "OpusTheFowl", if im correct?) War of Nations.

Is a small "fun" way of play, alternatively. to the rest.

(Hosted by Danish Gaming Club)
This will be a competition.
Between players and clans.
With Leagues, Ladders, Cups.
And if succesfull with prices to win.
(again this will only happen if the ESL still decideds to ignore this game, if they decided to have it anyway i will not be able to match their player base.)

Hope that cleared it up for you.

Old Gamers' Night was an informal gettogether and a casual friendly format for playing some matches between teams. I don't think it's necessary to run it any longer, since several people have come forth with more advanced formats. PLF would rather cooperate with the other volunteers to organize and advertise even better events for the community.

Sunburn and me have talked a bit about it, and we will see if we can have something up. 1v1 league and 2v2 league is probably gonna be the start. But hopefully quick after that, with even more.

In the process of getting some logistic in order to get it going.
Stay tuned for more updates the coming week.

Just a bump to say that both Pandex and myself have discussed our joint ideas at large and have pretty much nailed out the formula for leagues and what nots, all being well, and with enough community interest, we should be able to kick Wargame: EE off to a great start in the e-sport format.

The 2v2 league has been running for a few weeks now and lots of fun has been had. The final week is just about to start for the first season. No future plans about the 2v2 league have been announced but I guess any 2v2 teams interested in some hot clan vs clan action should sign up at the site now in preparation for the next season!

Also the 3v3 and 4v4 leagues seem to be sparking up more interest. Sign up for those is still open and new participants are very welcome.

Seems the league has been rising in popularity this weekend, new teams have signed up. Also the 2v2 cup was announced and signups are open: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4890
