tomg, not sure that there will be NATO slots, but you can sign up as a backup and we'll get you in the second running of the battle. Find me or Opus on steam and we will add you to our group.

Heya! I've been checking this thread a bit, because I think this a great idea, really.

Id: Deuzerre (steam and Eugen)

I'm available if you need:

(Full decks)
-French (Operational)
-USSR (Operational
-USA (Operational)
-CSSR (Full)
-Poland (Full)
-UK (Full)

(Incomplete decks)

-BRD (No command vehicle, no helo, half the infantry)

(Empty decks)
-DDR

Little thing I am wondering though, as much for balance as for role-play: FOBs and initial command vehicle should be erased and replaced by the national equivalent (except for CSSR and Poland that don't have any). This way, the USA and USSR player has do share the FOBs, compensating their bigger versatility by a bit less initial money, and "minor" nations have limited command vehicle capability (limited by the low national numbers), representing the fact that they are "minor".

Edit: Little precision on my idea: CSSR and Poland would with my idea, only have ONE command vehicle: The initial "gift" given by Russia. Most other "minor" nations only have up to two CVs. "Major" factions will have to be the primary area holders too.

Excellent, DeuZerre, this is the type of flexibility we need to get going. Welcome aboard and I will add you up.

Solid idea on the C&C, we are discussing rules currently and will be back with our initial proposition in a day or two.

Little question: What are/will be the decisions regarding deck choices sharing several nationalities? For example, the US' "Mbt-70" is needed to have access to the German "Kpz 70".

List of those units:

Recon:
USSR: BRDM-1 -> -> CSSR: OT-65A VYDRA
Tank:
USA: Mbt-70 -> BRD: Kpz 70
Support:
FR: AMX-30 Roland -> -> BRD: Marder ROLAND 2
USSR: BM-21 GRAD -> CSSR: RM-70

Good eye, DeuZerre, we came up with the exact same list. Sit tight, and we will be back soon with our proposal on exceptions such as these.

Sounds interesting. I can do any NATO deck or East Germans for PACT.

This sounds delicious. sign me up, was hoping an official game mode would come out to do this, but beggars can't be choosers.

could these units be in both nations decks, but just trust their users to use only their nations variant?

If it hasn't been suggested already, you guys should open a steam group for this. The calendar displays events at the local time for every player making it easier for everyone, and the chatroom is a good way to plan out the details before starting the game.
