That being said I find one imbalance that could be addressed in a future patch. Give the Soviets at least one choice in mortars. May I humbly suggest that we receive the 240 mm mortar M240 which is from the Cold War/ Soviet era. I hate using artillery because as many veteran players have discovered themselves artillery is indeed a novice choice in a soviet or nato deck.

Of course, we even need to buff the poor underbalanced Pact. No, seriously, you have ATGMs on all tanks, the Smerchs, the Buratinos, better flamethrowers, way better AA and now you also want to get the NATOs only advantage support-wise?

You forgot we also want Nona mortar, in fact we want it more than the tulpan XD.

They can have mortars, if they delete the Buk. I'm sick to death of 2-3 of those spread out 500m behind their troops preventing my helos getting withing a km of my own troops. It's batshit insane.

Me too. When I'm WP, mortars are effective, but not devestating. Wheras BUKs when I'm Nato almost prevent me using Gazelles or Lynxs at all.

They prevent using any helos at all. Must have been ages since I last played with helos, but for my other troops, Buks are ducks on wheels.

I usually take a single AH.7 TOW. It's quite good for sniping things like T80s if they break through, but in 80% of games it just sits waiting for a chance to do something without being instagibbed.

And our unit that comes close to doing the same is the chappy. And there stats and range do not even come close to that of the BUK.

I was hating the BUK -BEFORE_ it was cool. I will be the ambassador to this disarmament conference between NATO and the Pact. Lose all BUK Variants, and get some mortars.
