We are hosting a community event for new players of Wargame to get everyone onboard and in touch with the community.
The plan. This is very freeform but we could do:
1) Q&A sessions. Ask about the game, what to click to do X, what unit does Y, how do I counter Z, etc.
2) Co-op games. Especially good if you haven't figured out the game and the units yet, play against an AI that is sufficiently easy and get some hands-on-help from veterans about what to take and where to put it on the map.
3) Multiplayer games with the community. Just get to play with/against a nice bunch of people and don't get kicked this time
Planning thread at
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10330This will take place this Thursday (that's today!), at 19:00 GMT (so 8 pm UK time). You will need to add people to your friends list beforehand or come to the community teamspeak:
IP: 78.157.97.10
Port: 25210
No password required
Location: Denmark
It's easiest to find the folks participating if you use Teamspeak 3. We'll be mostly talking in English but I think there's some people around who know eg. German, Finnish, etc. On the server, locate the PLF Area and jump to room named "New Players Lobby". Speak up and ask if anybody is up for a game.
If you don't use teamspeak, you'll need to have people on your friendslist, and be patient until some of them are available. Pay attention to the ingame chat (the little box on the right that sometimes has the white number).
