The minigun on a recon helo kiowa has got a 2500 rate per minute(3000-6000 irl) and a 4 barreled yakB on mi 24 attack helo has 454 RPM(irl it has like 4000rpm according to wiki)??? Also the minigun has a range of 1700 meters(caliber 7.62) and yakb has a range of 1200 meters (caliber 12,7).
Wtf is this srsly, why the soviet gatling is so nerfed?

I agree, the simulated guns on Pact helos is terrible - in game it seems the only advantage to pact for Helos is the rockets on the Mi-8.


The lack of AP guns is also noticable on Pact Helos.

If PACT chopper MGs had the same killing power as NATO miniguns then PACT chopper spam would be OP.

This is exactly why there's no point in Mi-24A/D, the only working weapon they have are the rocket pods. You can buy a Mi-8TV for 30pts and it's just as effective and way more cost effective.

In all seriousness, I love the look of the Mi-24 series, and hate the Mi-8s. I'd love the Mi-24s to be buffed, along with a price increase.

I cant believe my eyes when i see the yakb lol. mi 24 imba.

They dont need a price increase they just need working weapons.

I wrote : Increase guns and price.

Otherwise they would be impossible to take down for NATO. It's already hard enought taking out all those 10 HP helicpters, but if they could shoot back... My, completely OP. At least, with a price bump they'd be unspammable.

Whereas most stuff in-game is well within its real life ranges, the M134 game easily goes twice outside in range. Its range should be dropped in half, and if that's an issue, rate of fire bumped up to 4000.

Max effective range for any .308/7.62x51 is between 800-900m.

It would also justify arming some helicopters.
