Dont know about RUSE, but afaik they are a small company and i think its safe to assume that most of them are working on new projects. So we'll probably see one or two small DLCs, which where already in the making, and some bugfixes.

i doubt the OP has any actual knowledge about the plans (or lackthereof) for WEE, but it boils down to do you enjoy playing it in its current state? if you do, then what's the problem? if you don't, just how much effort and expense do you expect a company to provide you for free to make the game just the way you want it?

WEE is a very cool, niche title. support thus far, with balance and bug fixes, has been pretty good in my experience. it is inevitable though that at some point it won't be financially viable to add new content.

as long as servers remain live then its rock n roll time.

(of course like everyone else im actually playing diablo atm.)

Please keep your damned condescending tone with yourself and not try to put yourself at moral high ground here.
You notice how I didn't ask for new content but talked only about bug fixes and balance patches? I don't expect a game to be supported forever but for a 40$ game I would actually expect more than 3 months(as of this day) support.

The game is not exactly complete without the mod-tools being released, balancing is far from over with the massive number of units having never seen the light of the day since another unit is far better in every way, many in-game models are reskins, getting disconnected from ranked is still common.
While it may not be financially viable to ADD content, it I suppose should be financially viable to FIX existing content.

Also WEE is FAR from a niche title. This is an amazing RTS game just like RUSE was. All this needs is support from developers(or maybe mod-tools so the community supports itself)

(Go play Diablo. There do exist avid WEE fans who would rather have this game supported)

Bugfixes are coming at a steady rate. Gameplay patches, not so much.

No need to be that aggressive, that was a rather polite post coming from SupCom...

While SupComFan sometimes posts the most abrasive and condescending posts I've ever encountered, he is totally polite and accurate here. How is this not a niche game? There is not much of a competitive scene, not much high-level discussion, and not many players. Much of the fanbase seems pretty ungrateful and unreasonable in their demands.

It's an imperfect game with many possible improvements, but I feel like this is one of the best games I've played. We have to accept the reality of the situation. Eugen does not have the financial means to continue support nor is there a large enough community to justify it. Be grateful for the time you've spent enjoying the game and any possible future development.

I dont think the player base is ungrateful compared to other games. Many, that use forums, only do so to complain and to steam off anyway. So its not a real indicator, because seriously, i havent seen anybody complaining in any lobby the same way people do it here. In fact i havent seen most people, who continue to complain here, in any of my 600+ games played.
People just think they possess the holy grail of balance and that they could make games much better than those "damn devs". You get that in every gameforum.

Woah dude, chill. That previous post was totally fine and it definitely seems that you inferred that tone. Anyways, this game is most certainly not abandoned, they may be working on something that takes time (like balance maybe)

Nope, Wargame is not dead. Not involving ourselves in "Nerf NATO vs. Nerf Pact" flame wars doesn't mean we've left the forum ... ;)

We're actually working on the next DLC.
